PERPETRATOR CAUGHT RED HANDED

Prior to being caught: Whole world was in A&W yum cha. Pat informed Nic to bring poker chips just in case we were gonna play poker. During Yum Cha, Pat informed that poker is then cancelled, thus yum cha continued...

After Yum Cha: Everyone agreed to meet at Louise's place for fun and drinks. Right after yum cha session, suspect sped off to an unknown destination. Hence, our crew decided to tail the offender. Suspect then decided to lead us on a wild goose chase, culminating with a stop at his house in nearby Damansara Jaya. Prior to that, our crew received an anonymous tip-off (CNN - who else?) for his intended destination, thus we were wondering "wtf?"

We saw the suspect park his car and headed into his house, fully aware we were following, but chose to ignore us.
Our backup arrived and decided to give up the chase, thinking it was a trivial pursuit. However, we stuck to our original hunch and decided to wait in position for any signs of "sneaking".
We then received a call from suspect, stating that he was:

• Tired
• Needed to fetch his sibling to an unknown place

We knew that the suspect would not make a move unless fully aware that the coast was clear, hence we decided to leave our position and decided to camp at the next lane of his housing area. Thinking that he would take a long time, we decided to hold camp and chew on dental floss (investigators use ciggies, but Nic ran out).

Within 2 minutes we saw headlights, and a silver Myvi speeding out of the housing area. (cue high pace music)

Jostling to start his engine. our driver got into gear and went off in hot pursuit. We knew we would get caught if we followed too closely and based on intel, we decided to just take it slow and follow the suspect from afar. There were moments when we thought we lost him, but we kept faith on our intel (trusted source, couple of situations) and decided to head to the designated location.

We arrived at the destination just as the suspect got out of his car.

Stunned, Patrick began stammering as our Photographer took his picture and interrogated him:

Nick : Eh Pat? I thought poker cancelled?
Pat : ... (Stunned dok face!)
Nick : Eh we got poker chips, you playing poker right? Need chips or not?
Pat : Oh, no need la, got already... Eh but can also la?
Nick : Oh nvm nvm la no need. Eh.. I thought you need to fetch your brother?
Pat : No, really one, later
Nick : Oh okay la nvm we going Louise's house now bye!

Suspect apprehended, case solved.
